Saving
with your browser
MS Internet Explorer and Netscape browsers will allow you to save
an image from any web page. Right clicking on the image
you wish to save will bring up a menu that has a number of options
on it...
Internet
Explorer
The right click menu for MS Internet Explorer looks
like the one on the right.
When
you select Save Picture As... you will be presented
with the standard save file dialog box that allows
you to save the image to any location on your hard disk.

Netscape
The right click menu for Netscape looks like the
one on the left.
When
you select Save Image As... you will be presented
with the standard save file dialog box that allows
you to save the image to any location on your hard disk.

Another
option with Internet Explorer...
The right click menu for MS Internet Explorer will
also allow you to select a Copy option.
This
will copy the image into your clipboard where it
may be pasted directly into your open image editor by
selecting Edit and then Paste or Paste
as a new image.

The
right click menu changes from version to version so yours may
look slightly different from the ones shown above. All versions
will have some variation of the Save Image option though,
even the older and more obscure browsers.
Drag
and drop
Most browsers will allow you to drag and drop an image directly
into your image editor where you can edit or save it. This technique
will work for the .GIF images in our libraries.

Using
the links
To download the .TIF or .UFO files, select the link under the
image. You will be offered a dialog box that allows you to save
the file to disk.
The
.TIF format files are only available to members.

If
you have .UFO files associated with PhotoImpact, you can select
the open this file from its current location option as
well.
This
will automatically download the file and open it with the PhotoImpact
image editor.
